OK, Ready to move the Versacamm today and not sure what it is that locks the head? Is it something that came with the unit and I just don't know what I am looking for? Trying to move today but not sure what I need. Any help would be great. My # is 941-416-0772

Hey Matt was this resolved?
Hey Irvin ,tonight is the night we are going to try the move. I see the blue piece in the back but can't find were to attach it to lock the head in place. Anyone have instructions at all? All of my books are packed in boxes at the store somewhere in the moving mess and I can't find them.

Thanks Matt
Matt, the blue steel piece screws into the lower platen on the right side of the machine. Look around the 1st blue block and you should see the place for the screw, All of the other holes are not threaded. On mine it looks to be about the second screw in.
Thanks Irving, It has been pouring all night long so we have to hold off until the AM. Thank you for the info! We will see how it goes in the morning.
Matt it should work out for you the blue device is screwed on with a white thumb screw in the ink cartigage area. I am sure you have that by now. It screws into the threaded hole (2nd in) on the right side by the cutting head. If that does not work for you for what ever reason. Foam (not styro) placed on the platen near the head would work to secure it. That would replicate the foam that they place near the pinch rollers during shipping.
Awesome. We will give it a go tomorrow. Thank you so much for all of the help!
And the answer would be
The move was perfect. Just locked the head. Took off the drain bottle and put a towel down. Took it off the stand and in the back of the wife's mini van for a smooth ride. Hooked it up at the new shop and started right up. Was printing within minutes!! Thanks for the help!!!
