A Digital Printing Network

hi there

Just trying to figure out a way to ID some material I have laying around here.

Got an order for some clothing for a sports team (track jacket and pants) and it's a simple one, but I know I can make it easier and faster if I print/cut and heat transfer instead of die cut all the names and screen print the chest logo.

I have a roll of heat press vinyl I got when I bought the machine (used) and have no way to get in touch with the previous owner, and I'd love to use this material.

It's white (duh) very thin, with a very thin backing paper. On the same lot it was a short roll of paper tapae called "Transfer & Seal" which I tried to use once and left a nasty adhesive residue on the garment, so I guess is just old.

The heat vinyl only a date stamped inside the core in red numbers, maybe you can help me out to identify this material and doing that I'd be able to find out the correct application method for it,

thanks a lot for your time

Carlos your chances are slim to none of IDing the material.  Just contact Imprintables and order some Quickprint or EcoPrint and mask. It's inexpensive and will work on most garments.

Butch, no way for me to do that in an affordable way, I'm living in South America right now, so shipping and customs would kill the deal for sure. Around here printable heat press vinyl is crazy expensive and not a whole lot of demand for it, so I thought about cracking out this order using what I have not having to order anything.

Will do a few tests and see if I can come up with something ruining as little as possible ;)

Sorry, didn't realize you were in  SA. Could be the original Roland product they used to package with the startup supplies. Try the profile for that first. Might save some time and material.

too cold here to work in the office, gotta wait to install the A/C somewhere during this week , then I can spend as much time as I want trying stuff :)

Will be back later with more question probably

thanks!
