Installing Sp300v driver on a laptop with windows 7

I'm getting an error message saying the driver can't be added because the driver module is in use. Anyone run Into this issue?

Make sure your not connected to the printer-turn it off or disconnect the cable/ Do you have a back-up drive it may be copying wait until it's done/ Hit cont+shift+escape to see if anything else is running that may be an issue and close it/Shut down and restart then try again,uuuhhh, that's all that comes to mind at this time.
