Not sure what is going on I have a simple design that is text with a contour around the text.  I made sure to convert to object, then seperate so only the outside contour has the cutcontour around it.  But when it cuts it also cuts in the inside text.  I checked the CDR file and also imported the EPS file and both do NOT show the inside cut lines...  Any thoughts?

see if the cutline is present on another layer, you wouldn't see if it is on another layer but VW would
Post the file Mark, we'll be glad to take a look for you

Figured it out, thanks for the replies.
convert outline to curves? What was the issue?

I had two names on one page, one that I do everything right, the other that I did not.  So I went back into the CDR and found out the other name and broke it apart and ensured the CutContour was only around the outside.

Emphasizes the importance of using VM to view my little dancing ants before I send it to the printer on EVERY item I have nested...  Feel pretty stupid to have missed something like this, hopefully it will help some other "newbies".

Mark, if I'm understanding what happened correctly, if you only want the cut line around the outside, next time you could try to use the Boundary tool on your contour.

Color your Boundary line with your CutContour color and you won't need to worry about breaking apart and deleting the inner portions that you don't want cut.

Either way will work....just another way to solve the issue.

Thanks!  I will try that.  I do it around whole page of items, but same would apply for individual.  Great idea - thanks!
