Ink cartridge low

Have Versacamm VS-3001.  Message says Yellow low.  Ordered & installed new yellow.  Thoroughly cleaned & restarted.  Still getting same message & the Printer status say yellow is gone.  Is it ok to still run?  And why is it not acknowledging the new cartridge?

Shake the ink and try to use old cartridge chip.

Three ways for ink detected. You need to check the sensor - it is now blocked, displaced, or no longer working.
