Hi friends! I finally completed our ski-wrap project, and submitted it to the Roland Creativity Contest. We took our company logo and wrapped our family's 5 pairs of skiboards with the logo, adding scrollwork with metallic silver highlights and snowflakes that look like the wind blowing through and around our logo. We took the skis up to Banff National Park in Canada this week and did some photo shoots up there with them for the contest. The skis were all different sizes, shapes and in varying conditions of dings and dents. The goal was to unify their appearance and create a company presence by wrapping them with art and creating a visual "sign" when they were set up in a row. They look really nice!!
Roland gave me this direct link to my entry if you'd like to vote for them. Please do!!! We only have till December 31st to get the most number of votes to win the popular vote for December, which might be hard since everyone's on vacation, and we've only just got back from the photo shoot to submit the entries today. Other entries have had since earlier in the month. We're hoping that we can win the overall contest, as we'd love to go to Japan and tell them how great our VersaCamm and Imprintables are!! :-)
Here's the link that Roland gave us to vote on:

Please vote for our Ski Wrap project. It's entry # 1560 in the contest if the above link doesn't work for you. THANK YOU!!!!!!
If you want to see more pictures of our project, I have them on my business Facebook page here:

Permalink Reply by Carolyn Klages on January 2, 2012 at 3:34pm Looks like Roland has stopped the December voting, but hasn't posted the results yet. I'll let you know what they say when they post them. On the screen, it looks like we've won the December popular vote, but I'm not counting my chickens until Roland posts it <grin>. In any event, I reallly reallly appreciate all of your votes, especially those who saw how close we were towards the end, and pulled in those last 50 or so votes! It was amazing watching the numbers rolling in New Years Eve, just like watching the Times Square Ball drop! Thanks to all of you who voted, and for those who gave me encouragement along the way. Keep your fingers crossed that Roland will choose our project entry for the winner to represent North America over in Japan for their International contest!!! There are some really great looking projects for them to choose from, and there's a whole nother month of projects yet to come in! Will we see some of all your projects up there??? I hope so!
