Here is the simple logo I am trying to simplify to make a cut line
Everytime I try to simplify CorelDraw freezes up and crashes? Not even a large detailed design?

Might be that you have a lot of objects selected. If Corel is trying to calculate around a lot of objects, it can get bogged down and freeze sometimes. I have attached your logo with the cutlines added.
