Hi there, I am new to this VC Forum. I figure since I have one I should turn to the "EXPERTS" for advice when I run into issues OR be of some assistance when others need some help as well. But first it's all about "ME" right now! :) I am having issues with printing a file that has dark CMYK around solids and text. You can't see it from a few feet away but at arms reach level you can see the cyan and magenta mostly surrounding those items. I will see if I can't post a picture on here once I figure out how to! hee-hee
Much thanks
Carmen

Permalink Reply by Carmen Peddy on July 26, 2012 at 11:29am Yea, the picture is soooo small you won't be able to see what I am talking about. Visualize this if you will: The words "TECHNICAL BUSINESS SOLUTIONS" printed in 80% GREY, now picture Cyan lightly appearing on one side of each letter and Magenta lightly printed on the other side of each letter. I made another file just to see if it was just that particular file but it did it to everything else I printed. I will check the encoder strip (as soon as I figure out what that is) LOL. Thanks for the reply!

Permalink Reply by Carmen Peddy on July 31, 2012 at 8:53am Thank you for your reply and THAT my friend is EXACTLY what was wrong with it! Tech. guy (from USCUTTER) was here Sunday till almost 1 in the morning helping me configure it. Works like a charm now. I also am going to clean that strip you mentioned with alcohol. THANK YOU Admin for your help!
