HI

Has anyone gotten the eco print with the new frosted carrier?  They are now recommending magic mask with it since they have changed the carrier.  When I used evolution mask on it I am getting lift off of the media but it's like a suction so it is creating alot of bubbles and wrinkles.  I haven't tied the new mask yet which iw says works better.  Very disappointing that the makers changed the carrier.  I had no trouble before and am very disappointed now. Please let me know if anyone else is having this trouble and if they have any tips on making it work with evolutions mask as I have alot of it now to get rid of.

thanks

April

I tried some Solarprint for a can cooler job a little while ago and they suggested magic mask it worked fine, I could use a piece 5 or more times with no problem. They prob changed the carrier because it's cheaper to make? or they make the magic mask too.

interesting huh?

I don't use eco-print but the frosted carrier sheet on Express print is an issue I just posted about as well

unfortunately John, I think you hit the nail on the proverbial head!!!

So Imprintables changed the carrier of Eco Print and it is now has the same carrier as Stahls Express print? I never had much luck masking Express Print. I think I will stick to Quickprint.

Ok I just used some of the magic mask with the new frosted carrier on the eco print.  Mask pull the media from the carrier great.  However when I tried to apply to 50/50 sweatpants at the setting for eco print the media would not release from the carrier.  Had to use 8 on hotronix press and then let the mask cool some before it would release.  Did a t-shirt at reg settings and it was fine though.  Just wanted to pass this info along in case anyone has issues.

Thanks

April
