I need to apply decals on construction equipment, some of which has well-worn paint. Is the prep any different for equipment with well-worn paint compared compared with standard prep for a vehicle wrap?
Butch - Why do I think you probaly have some experience working with construction equipment?

Apply your graphics as you normally would. I use Rapid Tac so I can reposition easily. Spraying the frontside of the masking after you apply will aid in working out some of the bubbles and allow squeegee to slide easier. If you have chips out of the paint a soft squeegee or soft rivet brush will aid in conforming to the dip.
