Having a horrible time trying to cut a detailed logo for a car decal. The cutter will not stop pulling the logo off of the media while it is cutting. Not sure how to adjust this on the machine- nothing really tells me how in the manuals I have. I have changed the blade thinking that was the problem, but apparently not. Any suggestions?

Rachael,

I'd be interested to hear what others have to say because I've always had problems cutting small designs (1/4" or less) on calendared vinyl. You may want to try lowering the speed of your blade to see if that helps.
Thanks,
I tried slowing the speed down, adjusting the cut pressure- almost everything and it still wants to pull. Not sure how to handle this. I currently sit and watch it cut and pause when it pulls and stick the weeder in and try to replace what pulled so it doesn't ruin the entire print job. Not fun.
Did you try adjusting the length of blade sticking out of the holder? Sometimes making just a little more stick out helps. The VP-540 manual says to have a slight more blade exposed than the thickness of the vinyl.
Another option is to slow down some more. Or try a 60 degree blade for the really fine lines.
