I went to recut a design I cut Monday but Versa Works will not recognize the cut lines. I'm using X5, Versa Works is set to print & cut. I even tried just a squre box with the cut contor and nothing. Any help.

John, you don't have banner or an 'uncuttable' media selected by chance, do you?
No. I have it set for orajet 3951. I haven't changed any setting so I'm at a loss.
You can try to figure out what happened (if you are really interested to find out why) or, if you just want to get the job done, look at your design in CorelDRAW, confirm that the cut lines are there, then export the design to Versaworks.

Yes I agree.  It happened to me but don't remember what I did - so

like said - go back into corel

ensure your cutline is still a hair line and named properly

ensure you are not converting spot colors in Corel (might have checked it for another file and it carried over)

export and load into VW

as stated ensure you have a media selected with a carrier

now check cut only to see if your lines are there

Hope something here works for you

Hey Irv, I've heard it said that the second thing to go is your memory, I just can't remember the first.

who is this?

John could you post the file so we could take a look?
I had that happen once.  One of the queues was set for print only media.  Silly me.
Did John, go to bed and leave the rest of us out here wondering what happened.
Irv, I think John did!     Great, now I won't be be able to sleep tonight.
I am thinking the same thing - I was trying to be there for him but - now I am just here - oh well back to work.
I went to bed but did not get much sleep. Keep thinking about the cut lines and what to do when I get to the shop in the morning. Hope to update all by 10AM.
