The first video is here and I would like to hear any feed back or suggestions. I know near the end the video lags slightly behind the audio and I am not sure why but hopefully I will figure it out and get the next one better. The video is below as an attachment. Please do not download and re post the video on any other sites but if you want to encourage others to come join this site to view it, feel free!

I hope it helps!

right click on the file and save link as to your computer. Then you should be able to open it.
Some people have had difficulties opening the video. If you do not have a video player that will play mp4 files, you can use a free online player called wimpy flv player. the website is:
http://www.wimpyplayer.com/products/wimpy_standalone_flv_player.html

The player works great and best of all is free!

I hope this helps!

This video worked well for me. It was explained clearly and I'm going to go implement this right away on a graphic that I'm working on right now! Is there a way to space the cut line a certain distance from the logo? As in, if they would like an area of white space around the outside? I'm knowledgeable about Photoshop and am learning Illustrator, InDesign, and CorelDRAW so if you could be specific, that would be great! For example, what if the company didn't want each individual piece of the logo used in the tutorial cut out and they wanted it to remain one piece with the white in between the objects to be part of the design?
To space the cut line out a distance, in Corel anyway (been a while since I got to play in Illustrator much), you can use the Contour command. Create the contour to the correct distance, break apart (Right click on the contour and choose "Break Contour Apart"), no/BG fill, CutContour outline and that pretty well should do it for ya.
Eric,
Perfect description and exactly how I do it!

Thanks!
