For those who do embroidery as well as imprinting, do you use either Compucon or Wilcom software and, if so, what is your impresssion of them?  Does Wilcom working seamlessly with Corel as claimed?  We are considering a switch in software.

Thanks,

Dennis

I have used both and like each one. In the Wilcom software I did not see that it worked "seamlessly" with Corel. It was decent but crashed from time to time. I still use Compucon and am very happy with it.

Dennis, I jump between Wings, I-Cliqq and Wilcom
All of them have their strong points.......I'm proficient in NONE of them
I beta tested a little for all 3 programs, so there's no excuse for my blondness, none at all
Sigh

All 3 will work in conjunction with Corel to some degree also
At first Corel was partnered with Drawstitch ie. Wings Modular, now Wilcom and Corel are a team
I-Cliqq has a wonderful vector base that easily accepts a vector cut/paste

Not sure if it's over or not but Wilcom was running a HUGE sale during the holidays
Both Tom Moore at Strawberry Stitch and Lee Caroseli at Balboa Threadworks are excellent distributors for the software as well as excellent teachers.
Watching Lee's designs sew out on fabric is like watching a master artist painting a canvas
Highly, highly recommended
