ColorPrint Plus - Imprintables prduct
Hi all,
I've noticed while printing on Colorprint Plus using the Solutions Opaque media file, I get slight banding in my prints. How can I correct this? I was told by Imprintables warehouse to use Solutions Opaque media file for Colorprint Plus, not my idea.
My heads are perfectly clean. I notice the banding more on Cyan heavy colors ie: royal, kelly green, forest green. Also noticeable on red prints which is why I'm thinking I can rule out that there is a problem with the print heads itself. Perhaps the feed is quick, too slow?

I've heard of this product but never tried it before. I just did a search on it and came up with the blog entry posted in the link below. It appears in the video that they are using the HTM2 profile. How easy is it to weed and mask this stuff? Is it thicker than Solutions Opaque?

Colorprint Plus is a great product. You can cut to color, through color, no white borders needed like with solutions. The weeding is a dream compared to Solutions Opaque. You can cut and weed individual letters with ease as well. It's a tad bit thicker but honestly still has a very good end result. I use Colorprint Plus a lot for decorating sport bags and cinch packs.
If you use Colorprint Plus, mask the material only right before you're going to apply. If you mask and let it sit, I've had issues with it peeling off with the carrier. I use TTD Evolution mask. That's about my only con for the product, it can be a pain occasionally to get off the carrier. Mask right before you heat press and you should be fine.

Just wanted to follow up on this post...I recieved a sample of this stuff in from Imprintables today and it printed and weeded great. The profile I used was HTM2. Finally something I can use for bags!

I was also unable to find this product on Imprintables website, but they do have it if yiu call and ask. I dont know if this is a similiar product to Siser Colorprint Extra since I have never used that. I have a lot of rolls out there called "Colorprint" that are made by different brands. I'm not sure if the product is related across brands. Anyone with a history of Colorprint care to post?
