Does anyone have a video or images on changing out the cap heads on my vpi 300? Just picked up some heads at the iss show and my magenta is blown. It has been a year so I know it is time to change them anyways. Sure it isn't hard just don't want to be pulling things out that I shouldn't.

Here is the image of the magenta to see if this is what everyone think the issue is. I am getting alot of lines and banding type issues with any red colors on prints.
Holy moly, Matt
I have no clue how to help you, that's way beyond my knowledge.
Irv will surely come to your rescue
He thrives on this kind of stuff

All I know is that sure does look ugly, but I guess you knew that already.
Holy moly
Funny Lady Di - I was typing when you sent yours in - we used the same words and yes steve piped in and I piggybacked my cents.  Matt is in good hands and this is one of the easier things with a VC.
Matt that is an ugly photo.  But I will save it for instructions.  Do you have pictures of how the prints were coming out?  I just did 12 cap stations so I can tell you that all you need is a phillips head screw driver and you are on your way.  Read the handout and if you have trouble hollah.  Keep sending a message in the chat area if I do not respond within reason.  The chat ping - grabs my attention.  My only caution - after you remove the screws from the section under the control panel - when you disconnect the hose from the Y connector - watch the ink remaining in the tube.  The ink is very corrosive to the ribbon cables and other areas with electonics.  You should be in and out in 45 minutes.  Don't worry I laughed too. Go forth and serve.

Awesome Irving. Thanks. Thats what I like to hear. I plan on working on it Monday morning. I will post the results. I don't have any images of the prints at the house, but when I get back to the store I will post them. Thanks for the help! Looking forward to the class next Month!!

Great - I will hear from you on Monday.  I was told that capping stations like to rest on Sunday and those are the best days to change them - oh well.
