I did not see any in our download section, but I offer you this. Ensure you have your VWs up to date. You can do this from the start button - roland folder - online update; or you can in VW - goto edit tab - preferences - Roland@Net - this is were you can set up to keep your machine and profiles up to date. It will go in and see what you have and update all that is missing from your machine with the Roland Generic. You can use one of the roland profiles and if you do not see one try the MCVP. Hopes this helps.

Hi Irving,I have updates set-up to keep my VW up to date, but there is still no canvas profiles in the VW ,I looked for the MCVP profile and Its not there either ;;;;any suggestions??

Neil - go into your VW and to your help tab - then about VW - what version are you using

- it might be where your update is directed too. MCVP is a standard once you update, but it might be a regional thing

Open Versaworks go to "media" tab, the first option on the drop down is "media explorer", It should be there, check on the left side of the profile and make sure the eyeball is showing if it's not it won't show in your queue. if the eyeball isn't showing click on it and it will show in the queue. canvas is SGC,,SSC profiles

Also click on the help tab and click on about versaworks it will show you the version your running it should be 4.4.3.

Hi John,

I am running version 4.4.3 and I know all about updating the program and the eyeball showing but I have no canvas profiles in the queue IE no MCVP or SGC, SSG can you guys send me the profile?

PS my printer is a Roland SP-540V so the profiles have to be for this printer

Cheers

Checked my files do not have any for your specific model. You will need to do testing with the profiles you have. You can do 3x3 samples and keep returning to origin and moving across the media to save media. I will continue to look.

This video by Steve that's in the Videos section shows you how to modify your profiles in case you need some pointers.

Sorry I thought the basic profiles worked on all, and like Irv said it may be a regional issue also, It's hard to know someones  level of knowledge with the system from a few post's. Not trying to talk down to you. I have made my own profiles so I would use less White and Metallic ink, it's not that hard, the video that Mike pointed out that Mr. Steve made can guide you in the right direction. Roland has a good one also in their archives.

Hi Guys, thanks for the help ,I know its hard to judge what people know or dont know in the forum,I will just have to keep looking. The Matte Pet profile works pretty well ,but I am always looking to improve my prints
