I'm just getting started doing canvas. I am wondering how you'll are pricing it. By the job or sq. ft?

Don't you need to do both?
What happens if one customer needs a 8x10 print and another one wants 24x36?
Beyond that, unless you have specific artwork guidelines in order, you might wind up spending a lot more time on getting that smaller image ready to print...................people send some wacky files, sometimes.
I think you need to take both parameters into consideration.
