A Digital Printing Network

We just got our VersaCamm VS 420 a few weeks ago and have been testing different materials to use for our main program which will be t-shirts both 100% cotton and 50/50s. Our designs are 2-4 color designs with some intricate art work that requires a material that can be weeded easily. So far we have tried QuickPrint, EcoPrint, and ColorPrint Evolution with varying levels of success. So far ColorPrint is working the best except that it has a very matte finish that doesn't show color vibrancy well especially black. If we darken the black it then causes the vinyl to become hard to weed and bubble where the black was laid down, I assume the darkening is now putting down to much ink. Any suggestions to remedy this, or a better product suggestion to try would be appreciated.

Thanks,

what profile are you using on the media? Also, when you are printing black, what color is it? In CMYK you have different values for black and if the file is sent as an RGB black, it will print differently. If you can post some pictures and the file, it will help me in diagnosing the issue.

The black we are using is the Roland Black RVW-BK22A from the Roland swatches colors imported from the VersaWorks CD. The file is attached. Let me know if you need something else to assist.

Thanks
