Hats - Do I need a hatpress?

Okay, here's the deal. I like to wear hats and would like to heat press my logo on one with the printed Solutions vinyl. The hat is very flexible (I'm dismantling one of my "Life is Good" hats). Do I need to track down someone with a hat press, or do you think I can get away with doing it on my regular heat press?

Since Josh was here showing different things, I'm motivated to try heat pressing just about everything!! :-)
