I have a photo processing business in the same building closing up. They have a GBC Eagle 105 laminator that they don't need. The serial number decal on the back is missing so I don't know the year it was manufactured but it looks about 20 yrs old. The owner put two new rollers on it recently. I haven't seen it run but they can do a demo with it when we want. He doesn't have a take up bar for it even though it has the holders for the take up. Is this a good brand to own? I have no idea what a decent price for something that old is. Any ideas on a price to start at?

YouTube as well as a few places that have them for sale.
Not sure what you mean by missing a take-up bar...........is the part replaceable?
What do you have to do? Stand there and hold the backing sheet out of the way?
For sure I would get the guy to demo it for you before you even consider making an offer.

That might not be called a take up bar but an upper hex film bar. I am trying to google a replacement.
