Having issues getting Limit Position Initialize to take on.

I have a question about a service of an SP300v The printer has a 0010 Servo Motor error and we are 100% sure the motor, servo board and main board are good.  I am pretty sure what is causing the error is that the board is not original to the machine…Continue

Curious for those who ship out larger die cut decals such as 24" round or a little bigger, do you ship them rolled in a tube or flat?Continue

I am trying to run an order where I am just cutting some Heat Transfer Vinyl, however, it is not cutting one of the circles evenly. I replaced the blade and slowed down the cutting but it still hasn't fixed the issue. I am starting to think it may…Continue

RIP vs PRINT

I've Googled for hours and can't find this, maybe it's so obvious and dumb that I'm missing it. But here it goes. What is RIP for? If I set up all my files in illustrator for multiple jobs, is that essentially what nesting is? When should I RIP, or…Continue

"One thing I've noticed lately with some of the HTV materials is that they seem to be stuck on the roll (backing to adhesive when rolled). You can actually hear the material pull off the roll. This affects cuts if the material is not being…"

"How is your test cut? Does it happen with other materials ? If not watch the HTV and see if it is raising up on the platen. Sometimes to much blade pressure causes HTV to bunch up resulting in offcuts like you have."

"That file is definitely fine, but I attached is the file I am using. It seems to definitely be a feeding issue as the issues on the circle appear on the sides when I flipped the logo 90 degrees for cutting."

Cutlines Shifting in VersaWorks preview when importing .eps from illustrator to versa works

Posted by Tommy Parilla Jr. on September 24, 2014 at 8:15pm 1 Comment

Hey all,

I am using Adobe Illustrator CS6 and I am doing some 1 inch by 1 inch numbers with a contour cut line. When I open my EPS in versa works the "marching ants" or cutline is offset in the preview. At first when i was printing and cutting (with crop marks and 2 mil laminate) i thought it was the machine, now i see that the SP540V i have is cutting exactly where the cutlines are off in the preview.

Please help!

Tommy

I was wondering if anyone has separated colors in corel draw x7.  I am trying to take a four color image that was e-mailed to me and separate the four colors so I can screen print the logo.
