Hi, we haven’t really used the printing option on the Roland BN-20 for long time and now that we’re trying to use it, it’s acting up on the printing, did a nozzle check after automated Normal cleaning on the BN-20 and it came out like the below with the yellow ink on the nozzle check coming out with whole missing blocks. Printhead replacement

Hi All. If anyone could give me some advice i would really appreciate it a lot. I've ordered a new head (Cyan) on my VP540 to replace my failing one and should be receiving it within a few days. I'm looking for some pointers on the head replacement as i've never done it by myself before. Now keep in mind this is a brand new head. I'm allright with the hardware aspect of the replacement, but what i'm unsure about is 2 things namely: A) When the new head is installed, it's obviously going to be…See More

"Possible air lines, more likely a damper issue a picture would help, although you think it is just a picture of a missing channel - that picture could point something else out to a trained eye or a lucky guess."

Versacamm VS 300i Test print issue?

I have a VS 300i model that is CMYK and also runs light black, light magenta and light cyan.  I ran a test print the other day and the print is completely perfect with the exception that its only printing one black channel print, it appears the entire light black test strip is completely missing.  The other six colors are absolutely perfect with zero missing nozzles etc.  What could possibly cause this issue?  I haven't noticed any issues with any prints but i'm sure in time there will be.  Any…See More

"First pour cleaning fluid into the captop and see if it drains, if not drain check lines for blockage. This normally occurs at the t connector.  Check your damper to see if black ink is flowing back into the blue line. If so you have air leak…"

Black ink is taking over the world

My versacamm sp300v has decided to have an attitude today. After normal start up my first print looks terrible. No Blues. I run a test print #1 and see black in blue test strip. I run a heavy clean and get test print #2.  I immediately add a job to queue  and run it and blues are gone within a minute with black? ink everywhere. Replaced cap tops, dampers, sponges, wipers and scraper 2 weeks ago during maintenance. It has been printing nice up to today. Any help on what to do next.......   MikeSee More
