I have a question about a service of an SP300v The printer has a 0010 Servo Motor error and we are 100% sure the motor, servo board and main board are good.  I am pretty sure what is causing the error is that the board is not original to the machine…Continue

Variable Data Question

I have done variable data printing before for machine serial number decals so I know how to set that process up. Now I have a different desire for variable data.I print decals that I would like to have today's date printed on them. Does Versaworks have this ability or do I need to go the regular variable data route? It would be nice if I didn't have to modify hundreds of different files. Thanks,RaySee More

Cutlines Shifting in VersaWorks preview when importing .eps from illustrator to versa works

Posted by Tommy Parilla Jr. on September 24, 2014 at 8:15pm 1 Comment

Hey all,

I am using Adobe Illustrator CS6 and I am doing some 1 inch by 1 inch numbers with a contour cut line. When I open my EPS in versa works the "marching ants" or cutline is offset in the preview. At first when i was printing and cutting (with crop marks and 2 mil laminate) i thought it was the machine, now i see that the SP540V i have is cutting exactly where the cutlines are off in the preview.

Please help!

Tommy
