INEXPENSIVE MEDIA FOR DISPOSABLE FLOOR MATS

Would anybody happen to know of a 54" media roll that is inexpensive for the purpose of printing disposable floor mats for car maintenance shop uses? I am not even sure if this is a ideal use for a solvent ink versacamm but if the pricing checks out then its something I would like to take a stab at. Its for a customer I already do a lot of work for and I have a big printer so I figured I would explore this idea.It seems that 80# paper stock is generally used for the mats.Or should I leave this…See More

VP-540 stops printing

My printer started this about a month ago. It has been happening at least once a day. The printer will print maybe a third of the job then stop, the lcd screen reads "now processing". We let it sit for awhile but never starts to print. This is happening even when doing multiple prints of the same job. Will print 5 in a row then the next will have the problem. Job log only shows unknown print error. I usually shut off printer and then resend job. Any suggestions on what is going on?See More

Why does this keep happening? Material not feeding through straight

Can anyone tell me why this keeps happening?  My local tech has replaced both pinch roller assemblies, but this happens every time....Obviously the material does not start out positioned this way, but by the end of the cut or print/cut, this is what it looks like, completely skewed to one side...any ideas on what might be causing this?  I told the tech exactly what was happening and he said that replacing the cracked pinch roller assembly would fix it, but it did not apparently. See More
