"you can put Roland cleaning solution in the captop and run a normal clean to try and clear it out. Do this several times to see if it will break down the ink in there. You can also let it sit in the captop and dissolve the ink buildup"

"Here is the captop, The captop does'nt absorb ink or cleaning liquid (it stucks on it). T wonder if it can be cleaned and if there is risks to take it off for 24h (for a bath in diluent). "

"You should do the overprint on the transluscent vinyl. That media is typically a milky white color but needs the extra ink for the colors to show properly on a backlit sign."

Cutlines Shifting in VersaWorks preview when importing .eps from illustrator to versa works

Posted by Tommy Parilla Jr. on September 24, 2014 at 8:15pm 1 Comment

Hey all,

I am using Adobe Illustrator CS6 and I am doing some 1 inch by 1 inch numbers with a contour cut line. When I open my EPS in versa works the "marching ants" or cutline is offset in the preview. At first when i was printing and cutting (with crop marks and 2 mil laminate) i thought it was the machine, now i see that the SP540V i have is cutting exactly where the cutlines are off in the preview.

Please help!

Tommy
